On the margins of the BUILDs Final Symposium, IAAC in collaboration with its project partners organized an International Exhibition that aimed at showcasing BUILDs outcomes.
During the 10, 11, and 12 of November 2021, IAAC exhibited the designs and prototypes of the BUILDs born start-ups (Epiclay, aeroSQAIR, Worm Generation, C:aire, and PlayEco) in addition to some nature-based solution prototypes from the Design with Nature Contest, and together with other living-design solutions developed by IAAC.
The BUILDs Exhibition: Design with Nature was open to the public. It drew a lot of attention and questions from the attendees (including people passing by the street) and created interesting discussions amongst them, as they approached the organizational team asking for more information about the prototypes and regarding how these solutions can be a real tool for combating our most pressing urban challenges.
